Thursday, 29 September 2022, Time 09:30 to 14:00hrs
Dear Member, Dear Friend of SACC,
The Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce invites you to a presentation at the Hafenmuseum, followed by a networking luncheon and tour on the Rhine taxi, including a site visit to the container terminals at Contargo in Basel. Clogged shipping lanes, component delays and empty store shelves have been ongoing stories in 2022, forcing industry leaders to rethink how they handle supply-chains.
The purpose of this event is to highlight some of the key challenges at present, namely shipping and logistical bottlenecks and the handling of supply chains. The big question is: How long will this unprecedented supply-chain disruption that has driven up prices of goods and services persist, and to which innovation will it lead the service and machinery industry?
Increased commodity prices of nearly 30%, growing inflation and a fragmented energy transition are among the greatest risks to global trade in 2022. They could remain volatile because of growing tensions between Europe and Russia, as well as China’s energy shortage.
We kindly welcome you to this day out event. Early registration is highly recommended!
Participation fee: SACC Member CHF 150, Non – Member CHF 170 (incl. transportation with Rhine taxi and luncheon)
