In partnership with the Ministry for Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan, Uzinfoinvest, Uzbekistan Embassy in Germany and the Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce we are pleased to invite you to a key event on Uzbekistan’s Economic and Investment Opportunities.
The Ministry for Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan is heading the official delegation to Switzerland to hold the 7th dialogue on the Economic relations between Uzbekistan and Switzerland with the SECO in Berne.
On this occasion, our Chamber is organising a briefing and networking event followed by an apéro. This is the fist event of such kind and we hope this will be an event where the business bridges will be set up between Swiss and Uzbek companies, new export-import and investment opportunities identified and deep linkages may be forged.
Uzbekistan offers a diverse range of opportunities as fast developing emerging economy of the Central Asia that steps in to the new stage of the structural reforms. By 2020 Uzbekistan plans to invest into the industrial diversification and the infrastructure upgrade around 90 bln. USD.
Uzbekistan economic factors include the following:
- political and macroeconomic stability;
- rich raw material base;
- energy independence;
- favorable geographical location in the center of the largest regional markets and in the network of international air and ground communications integrated transport and logistics system;
- diversified industrial base;
- scientific-intellectual and human potential;
- favorable natural and climatic conditions;
- legal framework and incentives for foreign investors.
