Bangkok, host city of the inaugural Horasis Asia Meeting

Horasis will convene the inaugural Horasis Asia Meeting in Bangkok on 27-28 November 2016. This annual event aims to be Asia’s foremost gathering of the region’s most senior leaders from business and government. The Horasis Asia Meeting is poised to be the ideal platform to explore and advance regional cooperation, impact investing and sustainable growth. 

As the economically fastest-growing continent, Asia is the world’s new growth engine. South-East Asia, China, Japan, Korea, the Indian Subcontinent and Australia recently concluded an array of new trade agreements, and the region as a whole is expecting growth of well above 5% in 2016. In this context, the first Horasis Asia Meeting will be held in Bangkok, Thailand. Writing one of the greatest economic comeback stories in recent years, Thailand is prepared to be one of the strongest performing Asian economies in the years to come. Located at the centre of ASEAN and representing its second largest economy, Thailand is the ideal location to advance the region’s economic, politicial and social agenda. 

With the support of national and regional governments, as well as Bangkok-based Sittipol Holdings and the Horasis Community, participants will discuss the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead for Asia.
