The Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce is ready to support all its members in their business activities in the ASEAN countries, Korea, Mongolia, Pakistan and Sri Lanka
by keeping them abreast of topical issues and providing in-depth information in the chambers journal, opening up opportunities for privileged contacts with politicians, businessmen and students (tomorrow's leaders in business and politics) from the region and providing a platform for the exchange of views and experiences with other members, with hands-on experience. Our partner organisations in the region are also ready to provide information, local know-how and contacts, or even initial research on the spot.
 
Fourteen years ago, representatives of multinational Swiss companies with personal experience and knowledge of the business environment in the region, had decided that there was a need for greater awareness and understanding of the potential opportunities of these markets. The result was the formation of the Swiss-South East Asian Chamber of Commerce, today the Swiss – Asian Chamber of Commerce which was formed by a merger of the Swiss - South East Asian Chamber of Commerce SEA and the Swiss - Korean Chamber of Commerce SKCC on Tuesday, May 24, 2005, in Zurich, Switzerland, whose membership now includes over 220 companies and individuals, including those most active and knowledgeable about the countries the ASEAN countries, Korea, Mongolia, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

The Chamber can provide you with assistance in starting, expanding and maintaining a business in this important region by offering

  • a broad network of contacts in business and governments
  • a business-minded approach and tailor-made information
  • access to the experience and the knowledge needed by companies and individuals doing business in the area
